Social Media Manager (Digital Marketing)

The Role

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager (Digital Marketing) responsible for crafting content, managing social campaigns (both natural and paid) and engaging communities across key social media networks for our existing client contracts. They will have a key focus on strategy, progress and results, delivering performance against agreed KPIs. They may also get involved with delivering the same for the in-house marketing of Visual Identity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of client Social Media accounts across both B2B & B2C.
  • Develop creative and engaging social media content plans.
  • Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative marketing ideas and strategies to get the most effective results from client budgets.
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as, Sprout, Hootsuite or Sprinklr etc
  • Help to develop, launch and manage new campaigns, promotions or content
  • Work with our existing clients to advise and support on the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube, whilst adapting the content to suit.
  • Ability to create but also work with our existing creative team to create engaging content across multiple platforms
  • Create, schedule and publish social content on time and to brief
  • Support our clients with their social media channels; planning calendars, managing assets, crafting content, finding and sharing relevant news
  • Monitor, track and report on the performance of ongoing social media accounts or campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights etc.
  • Analyse competitors on behalf of clients to improve and counter growth and engagement.
  • Continually analyse effectiveness of campaigns and ongoing social content and recommend improvements to increase performance and engagement across all channels.

What you bring

  • Good creative design skills for online marketing and the ability to create artwork utilising industry standard tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva etc).
  • Experience in working on Apple Macs and associated software
  • Experience with all major social media platforms (minimum Facebook Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Experience with paid social media advertising (FB Ad Network etc).
  • Experience with other paid media advertising would be an advantage (Google Adwords, Display Network etc).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work across multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Very good communication skills for discussion of projects, ideas, strategies and results with both colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to undertake analysis and produce reporting.
  • High standard of written and spoken English.
  • The ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
  • Extremely self-driven, creative but with an analytical mind.
  • Happy to work as part of a small team as well as be self motivated.

Additional Information

  • Hours of work are full time 09:00 – 17:30.
  • Salary £24k-£29k (Depending on experience)
  • Previous agency experience is a bonus but not essential.
  • Company laptop/computer.
  • Role is based from our offices in Milton Keynes with WFH flexibility under current guidelines.
  • Some travel may be required to client premises.
  • Start date ASAP.
