We worked with Rob on many great projects for over 30 years. His professionalism, good humour and enthusiasm for his work is a shining example to us all. How honesty and hard work deliver great talent and consistently high quality.
Rob was one of the very best studio photographers I’ve ever worked with – a true craftsman behind the lens. He captured images with an effortless style and clarity that brought every project to life. His calm presence, creative eye and unshakeable commitment to excellence made him an essential part of the Visual Identity story.
On a personal note, Rob photographed me for my very first local role as Design Manager at Bentley Woolstone Ltd. This is after I’d returned to work following the birth of my children. At that time, I’d stepped back in my career for a pivotal moment to start a family. Joined the local agency having previously working in London’s creative industry. Rob’s support and talent gave me the confidence and polish I needed to re-establish myself locally.
Rob worked tirelessly throughout his career. He built an enviable portfolio. Worked with iconic brands such as Marshall Amps and Aston Martin, and photographing many famous musicians. Together, Visual Identity, partnered on work for clients including Boxclever, Argos, The Open University, and Cranfield School of Management. His images often spoke louder than words – always distinctive, always impactful.
To mark this anniversary, we share his website to celebrate the legacy of his incredible work and imagery:
