This year’s theme is ACTION. While raising awareness is vital, real change in our industry requires intentional action to build mentally fit workplaces.
We’ve found that the strongest solutions aren’t just built on skills and software; they are built on creative wellness. We call this “The Virtuous Circle.” It is a reinforcing loop in which a series of positive actions and outcomes continually strengthen each other, leading to sustained growth and improvement over time. It’s the opposite of a “vicious cycle.
When we prioritise mental fitness, our capacity for unconventional thought and technical precision grows. This leads to better creative outcomes, and the act of achieving those results further boosts our team’s well-being.

For too long, the creative industries have romanticised the “mad genius” – the idea that great art must come from great suffering. But modern research tells a different story. While mental health struggles are common across all professions, they are not a prerequisite for innovation or creativity.
Instead, we find that:
Visual Identity (VI) encourages a mentally healthy environment, which isn’t a passive act; it’s a deliberate part of how we work. By stripping away technical “noise” and providing a structured, supportive Art Direction, we reduce the mental clutter not just for our clients, but for our own team.
When we lower the ”cognitive load,” we don’t just work faster – we work better, with more clarity and more heart. We believe that caring for the team’s headspace is the most important “Action” we can take to ensure our creativity stays sharp and our people stay well.
“We believe that great work only happens when the people behind it feel seen, heard, and supported.”
This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re committing to a workplace where creative wellness is seen as the prerequisite, not the casualty, of great work. We don’t just build brands; we support the minds that create them.

If you’re looking for ways to improve creative wellness in your own workplace, or if you need a little extra support today, we highly recommend connecting with the Mental Health Foundation. They provide incredible resources to help individuals and businesses build communities where everyone can thrive.
