Jacqui’s appointment reflects both her long-standing commitment to the Milton Keynes community and her passion for education as a driver of opportunity. As the founder and MD of Visual Identity Creative Ltd, she brings over 35 years of experience in strategic communication, digital innovation, and stakeholder engagement – expertise that will support the Trust’s ongoing mission to deliver exceptional outcomes for young people.
“A teacher at Denbigh changed the direction of my life,” Jacqui reflects. “It could have turned out very differently. Which is why I’m passionate about helping young people access the same opportunities I was fortunate to have.”
As a Trustee, Jacqui will be part of the team that helps shape the strategic direction of the Trust. The role is to ensure strong governance, clear accountability, and a culture rooted in care, education, and opportunity. The Board plays a key role in supporting the Trust’s educational standards, safeguarding practices, and financial oversight. The team draws on its understanding of leadership, values-driven growth, and community collaboration.
This appointment holds personal significance. A proud alumna of Denbigh Comprehensive School – now part of the Trust – Jacqui sees this role as a full-circle moment. During her time at Denbigh, two Art teachers had a lasting impact that shaped her future direction. This inspired her to pursue a creative path, which eventually led to Chelsea School of Art. This sparked a lifelong career and passion for all things creative. After returning to Milton Keynes in the 1980s, she founded with her husband one of Milton Keynes’ longest-standing creative agencies.
“To return to the Trust in this way is not just a professional honour, this new role also marks a valuable opportunity for continued learning. I’m determined to give back to the institution that played such a key role in shaping who I am.”
The entire Visual Identity team is immensely proud to support Jacqui in this new role. She is looking forward to seeing her make a positive impact and contribution to the Trust and the next generation of creative, young people.
