Throughout the COVID-19 emergency, the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) was instrumental in securing support for millions of small businesses and the self-employed. This work now continues as they move out from the worst of the pandemic, with new schemes and proposals to support members in recovering.
Local support and volunteer community
The FSB have a local team based in the community that understands the issues facing businesses. Their Development Managers work closely with Local Authorities, elected politicians and many other public bodies in the area, to ensure a small business has a voice. The team also deliver a programme of networking and business support events across the region, enabling businesses to develop valuable connections and build knowledge. Something which Vi is looking forward to being involved in.
