The Open University turns 50

Posted by Jacqui on 23rd April 2019

Making the impossible, possible for over 2 million students across over 150 countries

The Open University has made it their business to open up education for all. As the largest UK academic institution, based in Milton Keynes for the past fifty years. They have empowered over two million students across 157 countries to transform their lives through learning – helping to make the impossible, possible.

Today, The Open University turns 50! As it is their 50th birthday, we mark this momentous day, Visual Identity would like to celebrate their birthday with them by sharing some of the numerous projects we have delivered over the last 30 years.

A much-loved client, The Open University is an integral part of our history. The below design for print projects reflects the evolution of both of our organisations over the years, showcasing how far we’ve come together. As The Open University turns 50, we celebrate not only their remarkable journey but also the long-standing partnership that has supported their growth. Our creative collaboration has played a meaningful role in their development, and these projects stand as a testament to the impact of thoughtful design and shared vision.

As the Open University turns 50, our story is part of theirs!

We join the OU in celebrating their 50th Birthday. Help them and us to spread the word. #OU50
