Surf’s up!

Posted by Admin on 17th July 2019

Our Senior Web Dev Scott & his better half spent last weekend in glorious Devon.

Anybody who knows our Scottie will appreciate his love for cars and his latest investment, “Larry” the 34-year-old VW Camper van is our favourite yet!

After a slight hiccup en-route (blow out!), Larry delivered the guys safely to Woolacombe where they did some swimming and surfing, followed by stand up paddle-boarding in Watermouth Cove.

Ilfracombe Harbour is home to the controversial sculpture “Verity”, by Damien Hirst – erected in 2012 which has divided opinions amongst the locals.

The guys had a walk around the harbour and stocked up on fudge (obviously), before heading around the corner to Combe Martin, a small picturesque village with a private cove.

They then visited Croyde for the day and had dinner at a place called Blue Groove “which was lush!”

Croyde – near Baggy Point

The National Trust’s Sandleigh tea room and garden near Baggy Point was their next stop and finally, they stopped at Dyrham Park on their way home to the concrete jungle of MK!

Wherever will they visit next…?
