Services

Client Brief

When we first discussed Interact Medical’s website requirements, their vision was a ‘simple and easy-to-digest modern website’ that captured data and registrations. To highlight the key company benefits – compliance, a personal approach, retention of employees, creating lasting relationships, safe supply of staff.

Having worked with our friends at Interact Medical in the past, it was great to join forces again with this successful Medical Recruitment specialist and give the brand a new lease of life!

Collectively – this extensive bespoke website development has around 150k lines of code and 200 commits! With integration from multiple sources into Interact’s jobs system API, for both the pulling of job listings and pushing of candidate registrations.

Our Approach

During the initial phase, VI conducted research into the medical recruitment field, seeking gaps in the market where Interact Medical’s extensive services could stand out in a highly competitive environment.

By identifying the key attributes of the new website, we were able to structure the design of the site with these in mind. For busy Doctors and Nurses, time is of course of the essence. And in a digital world, it’s important to enable users to find what they’re looking for and submit their information in as little time as possible.

VI, therefore, set about building simple and engaging ‘call to actions’ on the key landing pages, whilst ensuring the relevant information was captured and fed into the clients internal system accurately and efficiently.

User-Experience

It was important for the client to be in control of the CMS, with no locked-down areas to enable them to update content and framework requirements when necessary.

Our WordPress websites can be self-managed without incurring additional external agency costs. This enables clients to spend their budget where it makes the most impact. Such as on complex website development and continuous improvement.

Another important factor for the new website build was that candidate registration needed to submit directly to the relevant recruitment team for verification (ie approval for work) and internal processing.

It was therefore crucial that on-page forms could capture new registrations as quickly and as accurately as possible. With the end-user being busy healthcare professionals our developers designed on-page forms and ever-present call-to-actions for quick registration, throughout the site.

The jobs search is linked via API – providing real-time updates with thousands of live vacancies for candidates to apply for online, in just a few simple steps, via any mobile device!

This process combined with award-winning visual design as well as the agreed technical requirements has created a site that not only looks great but is user-friendly and accessible to candidates or healthcare clients alike.

Mobile-First Design & Development

With half of Interact Medical’s website traffic being via mobile and tablet devices, we created an uncompromising and engaging experience for candidates browsing for jobs or support on the go. This allows users to effortlessly find the area they’re looking for on the website on any device and in as few clicks as possible.

Medical professionals are more likely to register with a recruitment agency if it’s easy for them to do so, via a mobile device. So our developers made sure that this form was identifiable by using the new brand colours assigned to the three key candidate areas – Locum, Nursing and AHP.

The forms then request the information required to submit a successful registration, which immediately informs the relevant recruitment team of a new registration so that they can get in touch with the candidate to discuss validation and the next steps to safe employment.
