ECS is an innovative provider to the defence industry with products that range from programmable jammers (RF Inhibitors) to counter the threat from RCIED’s to specialist COFDM data links optimised for use in the high-level military and internal security domains.
The brand was well established but needed reinvigorating. It was important that the identity reflected innovative, established roots and the company’s rich legacy in the defence sector.
Developed to work well within the online environment, the refreshed brand offers clarity and communicates the ‘big picture’ to stakeholders across the globe.
The majority of business had traditionally come through existing contacts, to intensify the marketing and brand awareness activity a suite of literature was developed.
The planned structure offered a solution that could be rolled out across subsequent issues and created a powerful and consistent marketing suite. In addition, a product brochure was developed for Kestral, a lightweight man-pack jammer. Produced to the exact size of the product it is a physical representation of the core product USPs, size and weight.
As a global specialist in providing defence security, it’s no surprise that ECS had, until now, limited the amount of promotional exposure given to the brand. ECS needed professional photography to support the new brand launch.
VI put together a schedule, treatment and attended as art directors. The results offered a number of scenarios, locations and covered the full range of requirements – ECS people, facilities and products.
For their appearance at DSEi, ECS required a custom-built exhibition stand that reflected their position as the leader in its field.
The company wanted a well-branded, eye-catching stand that matches the new look and feel to attract attention at the event. We developed a solution that consisted of two zones and maximised the space to include a consultation area to discuss deals with clients.
ECS commissioned VI to produce a series of five animated videos that would visually explain their COFDM products to visitors to their website.
The animation displays a clear understanding of the product, offering a video demonstration that highlights its benefits. The five videos included: Ship To Shore Links, Ground to Ground Links, RF Video Voting System, Dual Channel Down Links and Dual Channel Up Links.
